Who Are We?

Springfield Parents for Students with Disabilities (SPSD)
was established in the Spring of 2007.  We are a group of parents who came together while searching to obtain appropriate instruction and accommodations for our children in school.

We joined together with a common goal of offering support and information regarding special education, community resources, and a variety of topics related to raising a child with special needs.  We believe in the power of
Parents Helping Parents!

SPSD parents are all at various stages in our children's educational careers and are willing to help other parents who may feel lost in the systemWe welcome families from both public and private schools

We are a support group for anyone who has or interacts with children who have ANY disability.  SPSD is not a disability specific group.
